this is in perfect iambic meter and sounds like the first line of a weird poem
Rule #2
Don’t ever hug a lobster when you see one on the street,
For decorum is essential when a lobster you must greet.
You may comment on the weather, compliment his choice of hat,
But crustaceans like their space if one should stop them for a chat.
Don’t ever hug a lobster when you’re strolling down the coast,
Simply nod and give a greeting, or a handshake at the most,
For a lobster’s first priority is formal social graces,
And one seemes over-familiar if a lobster one embraces.
Don’t ever hug a lobster when you meet one in the sea,
For a lobster’s spines and chitin make it difficult, you see,
And he might become self-conscious if you bring that fact to light,
So don’t ever hug a lobster, simply put, it’s impolite.

One of the things I love most about Mulan, that’s rarely commented on, is just how much of a sacrificial lamb she is for her family before stepping in for her father in the army. Unlike Belle and Jasmine, who are fed up with society and make no attempts to conform for the sake of anyone else, Mulan trained and went to the match maker with the honest attempt at being the best bride she could be. If the match maker chose her that day, she would have willingly sold herself into the role that being a wife entailed to appease her family, at the sake of her own happiness and comfort because that’s how much they meant to her. If she hadn’t been perpendicular to the status quo and actually fit in, she would’ve gone into the marriage set up by the matchmaker and led a life of selflessness in a role that she never would’ve chosen for herself nor enjoyed.
[Nyle DiMarco signing] You can keep this ad muted if you want and keep scrolling past it. But if you’re still listening to my voice, please know that there are a lot of people out there without one. Among the 50 million Americans living with a disability, many don’t have the ability to work, to travel, or to do countless other things you might take for granted. So this November, please consider voting for the only candidate with a plan to change that.
Influencers take note! This is how to use social status to create the change you want to see
